SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainable luxury, that's what we like to call it at Le Chic.

Firstly, we think it is important to make a luxurious, high-quality product. And something that is luxurious can also be sustainable. The recycled polyester that we use for our jacket collections is a completely new, high-quality spun yarn from post-consumer products, of very high quality.

In these times, as a brand you must take responsibility and contribute to reducing your footprint, especially for the future of our children. We are supported in this by the Jolo Fashion Group, of which Le Chic is a part.

MATERIALS

Most of the materials we use to make our clothing consist of cotton or polyester or a mix of both. That is why we work as much as possible on using organic cotton and recycled polyester.

For the majority of our jackets we use recycled polyester, with high quality fibers to meet our high standards. In each new collection we strive to use more and more sustainable materials. And we are committed to animal welfare, which means we do not use materials such as fur, down from live-plucked or force-fed geese and ducks, angora, sheep's wool or shells.

TRANSPARATION

We underline the importance of fair practices and endorse the internationally renowned BSCI Code of Conduct.

We have drawn up a number of minimum requirements for the production locations we work with. A first requirement is transparency, which means that we want to know where our clothing is produced. In the factories we want workers to have a safe workplace, to be protected and to earn a fair wage.
